Economic Relief for Homeless Service Workers

Stipend payments are taxable income.

FORWARD is the vendor providing payments under the stipend program. If you were awarded a stipend payment in 2022, an IRS tax form 1099 reporting that payment has been mailed and/or emailed to you from the FORWARD vendor parent company GEOCKO, INC.

The email will come from a service called Track1099 1099 & W-2, with the subject line  Subject: 1099-MISC from Geocko, Inc. Please download the 1099 form linked in this email for your records.

Who is eligible for the homeless service workers stipend? 

If you are a homeless service worker with an immediate economic need and you are working for an organization that contracts with a Washington state city or county providing homeless services, you may qualify!

Individuals are eligible for the stipend if they meet all the following requirements:

Your income at or below 80 percent of the county area median income they live in
